4. Research & Community Impact
• Evidence of research output or industry collaboration

5. Compliance & Continuous Improvement
• Adherence to DARC/BIHEB quality frameworks

Accreditation Proccess

1. Institutional Accreditation
Evaluates the entire university/college against CGAPUCA’s standards (aligned with DARC Africa and BIHEB). Covers governance, faculty, infrastructure, and student outcomes.

2. Programmatic Accreditation
Focuses on specific degree programs (e.g., Engineering, Business) to ensure they meet industry and global benchmarks (via QAHE/BSQ recognition).

3. Provisional Accreditation
A preliminary status for new institutions, valid for 1–2 years, requiring proof of foundational compliance before full evaluation.

4. Full Accreditation
The highest tier of recognition, awarded after rigorous audits (including DARC/BIHEB reviews), renewable every 5 years.

5. Global Partnership Accreditation
For institutions seeking international collaboration, leveraging CGAPUCA’s BIHEB-backed global standards (recognized by QAHE/BSQ).

 

CGAPUCA Accreditation Agreement

This agreement ("Agreement") is made between the CGAPUCA Council for Global Accreditation of Private Universities & Colleges Association ("Accreditor") and [Institution Name] ("Institution") for the purpose of granting accreditation status.
